So who was best dressed at the Academy Awards? I thought Jennifer Lopez looked like a total goddess. Seriously! She is drapped in diamonds:

Rachel Weisz, oh my gosh she looked so lovely. I adored the dress because the color was so delicate and the whole look was so glamorous. I think perhaps the necklace-brooch combo was a bit much, but I'm not going to dismiss her look as bad because of it:

I think this made the worst-dressed list, but I think Gwyneth Paltrow looked beautiful! The color suits her skin and color combo really well. It's really elegant without looking like she tried hard. The hair is divine too, very slick and I thought it was perfect the way it was parted to the right as to not take too much attention to the train of her dress. I also tend to root for young designers so go Zac Posen!:

Okay I have to admit that she looks REALLY skinny, but the color was so rich I loved this dress. It kinda reminded me of the Dior dress that Charlize Theron wore to last year's Oscar, BUT A MILLION TIMES BETTER. Again, I love the combo with her skin and hair color. I think certain colors radiate on some people better:

This is my favorite Oscar look. Recently I've noticed that even though Maggie wears cute clothes she simply cannot pull them off well because the rest of her look (hair and makeup, or lack of) look sloppy. This dress was so posh! The black and blue was so rich and I fell in love with the one strap shoulder and the feathery thing she had going on at the bottom:

The last book I bought is called Sample: 100 Fashion Designers, 10 Curators. This is a coffee table style book and it is packed with photos. The main reason I bought this is because I need to get back into the fashion realm.

Good news! The Stooges are hitting the road! They'll be in SF for TWO DAYS, April 19 and 21st at the Warfield. Yeah!! I got so exited when I heard this, I screamed a bit. Iggy is super cool. I just saw the skit he did with Tom Waitts for the film Coffee and Cigs, and I fell in love again. He is so natural. People aren't fun like that any more. Too bad.

Omg I love Ugly Betty. That show is so fun! I've always liked America Ferrera. She is so cute and I am thrilled that she got some recognition for her skills.

Well, I am back at school. One more semester my dears and I graduate. I am not certain as to what I will be doing upon my graduation, but I know I will be in school to get either my masters (in History, Anthropology, ???!!) or my teaching credentials. Wahhhh!! I have no idea what I'm going to do. I better get a start on things and take some tours, get some 411 (haha!) on SF State....or maybe I will remain at SJ State. Hmmmmm......

Well I feel like this entry is one big tangent, but I feel happy sipping some delishhh cheap red wine. Today did a tippy shopping and bought a really cute makeup bag made out of the same nylon material as le Sport Sac, omg Betty and her bf just broke up!!!! (Cries!) Oh man I LOVE THAT SHOW! So aside from my cute makeup bag I also bought a black scarf. You know what I just thought of? Betty's best bud on the show is in the British show Extras!!! I TOTALLY JUST REALIZED THAT!

BTW who has control of the Jimi Hendrix estate? I just saw a commercial for the Crazer (sp?) and one of his songs was playing in the background. Sad.
