I've been missing in action because I'm graduating in two weeks and I have a long list of final exams and final research papers to finish. I'm not sure if anyone has been reading about the 400th anniversary of Jamestown, but today its the day. Anyways, if any of you are into history or learning about the environment the May issue of National Geographic is SUPER interesting. Who the hell knew honey bees and pigs could change the whole ecological system of Virginia and I'm assuming indirectly the U.S.?

Can I just say that the Conan tapping I attended on Wednesday was FUN! I gotta admit... I got a little star struck. I've been watching Conan for a while now and it was weird seeing him in person. I got goosebumps when Max Weinberg and his band played the opening song. Seeing/hearing the show live is a thrill and I basically jumped and screamed the whole time. The guest that day was Robin Williams and I knew it was going to be fun seeing him because he is so animated! Jeremiah and I took the Caltrain and the Bart there and arrived at around noon. We got our tickets at about one and waited in line until 3:30pm. The place was packed in fifteen minutes and by 4:00pm Max and his band were playing for the audience. This was certainly a memorable experience. It's so sad now that Conan's week in SF is over and I really do hope he comes back to the Bay Area soon. I will do my best to catch him again in October when I go to New York. I heart Conan:

After Conan Mark and Kelly picked us up and we went to Haight to shop. I went into La Rosa in search of a graduation dress. I decided that I would get vintage so I tried a couple dresses on there. I tried on about five, but I did not make a purchase because I felt that neither were the one. Finally Jeremiah and I went into Wasteland and I almost collapsed when I saw this dress:

I would be crazy if I did not get it. The dress is GORGEOUS in person and it looks a million times better on. Check out the sleeve...The beading is a PLUS!

And the neckline is so unique. I kinda like that its a little covered up. I think I'm going to wear my hair up and wear small earrings and a cocktail ring.

I have chocolate brown velvet chunky heels that look fab paired with the dress so I think I'm going to wear those. I do need to buy skin colored fishnets to complete the look. Now....how should I do my makeup?
