Upon perusing Fred Flare I came accross this cute card set. At first I thought it was a recipe book and I thought OMG how cool! I love chocolate!!!! but its actually the card set with recipes written on the back. I have to have this!!!! I love cute ideas like these, mighty witty. I should come up with something like this....

The above pictures are two examples of what the cards look like, precious huh?

Omg I'm such a dumbass! I totally forgot to comment about the Rock the Bells Music Festival that happened last Saturday in the city. Jeremiah and I were there and of course it was totally awesome. We arrived there just in time to catch the the last three acts on the main stage: Cypress Hill, the Wutang Clan and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. We were quite far from the stage so we had to rely mainly on the big screens, but that's okay because all I really wanted to do is hear the MUSIC! Cypress Hill was totally crazy and I loved every part of their set. They look like cholos and I loved that about them. The Wutang Clan was alright, but I felt bad because the crowd was too stoned to give them back energy. Rage was freakin awesome and I am SOOOOOOOOO glad I actually got to see them live. SO THANKFUL! I was pretty bummed out (I think I even cried) when they disbanned or should I say Zack went one direction and the remainder of the band formed Audioslave, but it's all good because they came back and played a beautiful show. The energy was awesome and they played so many good songs, my only complaint is that I think they should have jammed a bit more instead of of playing the songs exactly like the recordings. Oh well, they were awesome anyways and that's what counts.

I thought I would write a little about myself...Well as I've mentioned before I just graduated from college (well I have to take one last final pesky math class this fall). I got my degree in History and I could not be happier. History is very important to me because it's EVERYWHERE! I adore learning about people, places, and events. I think I especially enjoy learning about how things came to be the way they are. One of my most favorite subjects is California history because I live in California and I can relate to it the most. I remember clearly in the fourth grade learning about the missions. I chose Mission Dolores, which is located in San Francisco to do my report on. My parents took me to visit the mission and I thought it was the coolest thing because I was actually in one, if not the oldest building in San Francisco (not counting the Presidio). Well my point is that Mission Dolores was the beginning of a little town called San Francisco. I also have a deep appreciation for Native American history. I like reading books about the Ohlone people (native to the SF bay area), the Aztecs, and the Mayans because they are my ancestors. Well this will be part one of my bio...stay tunned for more!!! :)

Well hello there blogging world! A lot has happened since I last popped in to say hello. I took a little vacation to a beautiful place called Yosemite Valley. The last time I was there I was probably eight or nine years old so it was like I was there for the first time. Planet Earth the television show is totally inspiring and it encouraged me to seek the outdoors and thus a trip to Yosemite was planned for this summer. Jeremiah and I took the trip with our friends Rob and Alison and stayed in a tiny tent cabin at Curry Village.

The trip was spent doing a whole lot of hiking, some bike riding (my favorite! I want a bike now) and a bear tour with Forest Ranger Greg (who receives death threats from people because he has to put bears down once they become too domesticated). The hiking was challenging, or should I say the hike up to Yosemite falls was. It took a total of seven hours and the fall was 2,400ft. I wanted to give up a couple of times because it was grueling. The hike was about 99% uphill and the trail was mostly rocks and sand. I did not take enough water and was dying of dehydration and thirst to the point that I got desperate and took a sip of some spring water. I am happy to report that I did not get sick from it. I totally love Yosemite and I would recommend taking a trip there because the view is quite breath taking. There are really no words to describe how gorgeous it is...

On August 7th my cousin Gaby's baby daughter was finally born! Meet Izabella aka Izzy:

Yay! I have a niece and she is the cutest thing ever. She is tiny and beautiful!!!

And finally, my family and I just camde back from my cousin Vicky's quinceanera in Paso Robles and for no reason at all here are some pictures from the party. The first is of Lily, the cutest and most gentle chihuahua ever. My aunt got her a year ago and she has been a great addition to our family. She is spoiled rotten and is always stylin' some pretty pimp clothing (hence the Playboy bunny black hoodie she is wearing in the photo). The last picture is of my sister and I, aren't we the coolest sisters ever?
