Boo! So I just got news that I did not get the job that I applied for. The job was for a coordinator position for a program in the city that motivates high school students to go to college. It was a pretty sweet job too...there was quite a lot of traveling involved and an opportunity to do something positive that would gear young adults to go to college. There are a couple of prospect jobs equally as important as that that I am going to apply for and I've also gone ahead and contacted the director of EOP from my old school in hopes that she is hiring people for the coming fall semester. I am not in a HUGE rush to get a new job, but I am in the position that I could do better now that I have a degree.

Aside from that bad news I got a happy package in the mail today. I won a year's membership to the San Mateo County History Museum along with some other member perks, which include a discount to their gift shop...SCORE! (Perfect, because I eyed a couple of books last time I was there). Now I can visit the museum whenever I want!!!!!

I have been forgetting to post these amazing photos of some beautiful clothing that I am in love with:

Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear, Marchesa - Runway

I would ADORE owning this dress. I would wear it to the White Stripes show at the Berkeley Theater in September. It is the perfect dress to wear when seeing one of the best bands in the world. Did I mention that we are renting a limo the day of the show? Well, we decided that we must ride in style....and have a few mojitos in the process.

Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear, Missoni - Runway

Gawd I love MOD. This is the kind of dress that you could wear to a party and just stand out without even having to wear jewelry. The beading is gorgeous and I really like that the dress is paired with gray thights.

Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear, Gucci - Runway

This is the kind of dress that you would wear if you were a Stones groupie. I LOVE the color black. There is a certain attitude that you feel when wearing that hue. This dress is phenomenal because the fabric looks so velvety and lux. The red lipstick and the bad ass attitude are a must when sporting this Gucci look.

Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear, Gucci - Runway

I think I am ready to move out of California and head to NYC with this outfit. I think my favorite part are the leather gloves and the chuncky gold cuffs.

Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear, Gucci - Runway

Meg White would look favolous in this!

Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear, Gucci - Runway

If you see this lady out on the street wearing that outfit you would know that she means business. I mean, look at her! She has confidence and a totally cool red coat. My favorite detail would have to be the bow leather belt.

Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear, Gucci - Runway

I really like the collar on this dress. I bet the dress would look as equally awesome if it was in a plain color because of the collar alone. It gives it a really cool accent that looks totally effortless.

Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear, Gucci - Runway

My favorite model is Jessica Stam. I really like how she looks here. Very grown up and sophisticated. I picked this dress because of the pattern, collar, and SLEEVES! Will you just look at those sleeves!!!!!!!!
