Yum! I just had the best food ever: beans and rice with corn, diced tomatoes and onions and red salsa. I LOVE food. It sounds so simple and it is but it hits the spot every time.

Well I want to wish my best guy pal Chris aka Geo a Happy 22nd Birthday!! Tonight we are all going out to celebrate at the Cafe on Market and Castro. I'm sure he won't read this post today so I will reveal what I prepared for his gift:



The bottom gift is a picture frame that I painted and decorated for him. There are three slots for pictures and on the borders outlining the slots I glued one of the Miu Miu Lindsay Lohan ads. I wish I had not wrapped the gift prior to taking a picture because it sounds weird as I am describing it, but I promise that it looks really cool. Geo is a Lindsay Lohan fan because he shares her fondness for having a good time at the clubs. The top gift is Season One of Weeds. That show is pretty cool and I am sure he is going to enjoy every bit of it ;) Now, I could have wrapped the gifts in some birthday gift paper with colorful balloons on it, but considering the fact that his Myspace name is "Instant Slut, Just Add Alcohol" I had to do something creative. A Dolce & Gabbana sexy ad did the trick and I used that to wrap the frame and an equally racy picture of a young girl (also found in a magazine) was used to wrap the DVD. Because I like to make my own cards I used another picture from the sexy girl photo spread and made a custom made card just for him. The bow I used to wrap everything together was a recycled ribbon from Nordstroms. Yes, I love my creativity and frugalness as well.
